I drink 2+ cups of black coffee every morning...the caffeine helps me to get going.

I drink a cup or two of regular black coffee in the morning. Have noticed no ill effects. I am 82.

I drink decaf with milk or cream. I drank regular, but I was told the caffeine raises the blood sugar. So, I switched to decaf. I did notice a slight drop with the change.

It really depends on the person. If you were accustomed to drinking coffee for years and years, I wouldn’t stop. If your blood sugars are high, I would modify to just black coffee with Splenda.
