LADA is essentially latent T1D, just with a longer "honeymoon phase." So, you can ask any questions you might have in the T1 community.

I was 27 when I became type1, but that's not what matters now. All that matters now is the simple fact that I am type1 now. Who cares how or when I got here...I am here. I want all the type1's I can be around because if I'm only around lada then I may not find out what it's like or what happens at 20/30/40 years. I want type1's with experience I can lean on and learn from, and hopefully that will help me avoid some of the bad stuff later. I also want newbs that I can encourage and help because it makes me feel useful. I need both worlds so I can possibly live a longer, healthier and happier life. Keep living.
