Hi Susan. I’m sorry you’re experiencing all these issues with the sensor. I was recently diagnosed & so I’ve only been using G7 and it seems to work fairly well so far & it lasts the 10 days. I learned that if I insert the new sensor within the grace period it also helps reduce the extreme fluctuations of my numbers when I just start a new sensor & activate it immediately. I’m wondering if the sensors you received may be defective. I hope it improves for you soon. 🙏🏽😊
Any sensor failed prior to 10 day period? I started G7 little over a month and had 1 sensor fail during warm-up, multiple times get invalid code for sensors so applied 3 sensors before one works. Readings often 60+ off from manual stick. Seems like cold weather impacts accuracy. Only 2 sensors worked out of 90 day supply. Dexcom sends replacement but this doesn't help daily frustration, plus finger sticks, and several lows prior to alerts. Have you experienced similar problems?
Have had good and bad experiences. Hard to get it perfect for sure.
G7 works great for me.
What challenges have you experienced since switching from the Dexcom G6 to G7?
