I’m a little late to the party. Sorry about that, I haven’t been on in awhile. The best pump with the control IQ is the Tandem Mobi. It changed my daughter’s life for the better. I think the Omnipod isn’t good at all. My daughter’s A1c was in the low to mid 9’s while on the Omnipod for 6 or 7 yrs. Once we switched to the Mobi her A1c has been holding steady in the low 7’s for almost a year now. The Mobi is unreal and does everything it says it does and the Cannula is longer than the Omnipod’s so it goes deeper under the skin for better absorption. Good luck!!

I have the G7 (almost one year now). I have a love/hate relationship with it. Yes, it gives me plenty of time to treat a low - I needed that. But I stay high for longer than I think I should (3-4 hours) I think the pump does not treat it quickly enough, so I go in and do a correction bolus. I'm hesitant to do that because I could be messing with the algorithm (I think)

I have Medtronic 780 pump and Gardian sensor. The sensor communicates to the pump and the pump will automatically shut off if blood glucose gets too low or it will deliver insulin if blood sugars high and will continue to do so until BG's get within parameters set.

Control IQ is a Tandem program. So, all new Tandem pumps will have it.
