I am using Tandem with G7, and I want to switch to an Omnipod. I realize the Omnipod does not yet use G7, but when it does, I want to switch. Has anyone stopped using a tubed pump and gone to Omnipod while they are still in the five-year period after acquiring their regular pump? I started tandem two years ago.
I did OmniPod 5 for about 7 months. I didn't mind it at all. No tubes to get caught on things. Then the new year started and my insurance out of pocketed me and I could not afford them anymore. It had… read more

Any recommendations, pros/cons on any of these devices would be appreciated.
Thanks,

In my 20's I controlled my weight by having high blood sugar. It also caused early kidney failure thus the kidney/pancreas transplant. It was all about me controlling something/anything in my life. Does anyone else do this, or thought about this? I wish I had the education and the new gadgets that are out now.
The tandem pump is made by tandem. Their pump is called tslim x2.
