So I have type 1 and 2 different neuropathies and 2 different gastro issues. So there is alot going on. Recently I started working with a trainer at a local gym but the big issue is I need to put on about 15-20 pounds. We are having a problem getting the calories and protein I am suppose to get. I need to find something that will help put on weight but not totally mess up blood sugar and will go easily on my gastro issue. Anyone else deal with similar? I do not know of any. However, insurance will pay a good deal of the cost. Even medicare and Medicaid can be used
I have seen mine be around 100 then I get up, not have anything to eat or drink and they will skyrocket up into the 200's. Does anyone know what's going on? Has it happened to you?

I was diagnosed a year ago with Type 1 at the age of 64. My doctor is recommending that I consider an insulin pump and has given me brochures on the omnipod5, t-slim x2, and ilet bionic pancreas. I currently use the Dexcon G7 glucose monitor.
Any recommendations, pros/cons on any of these devices would be appreciated.
