No, not everyone living with type 1 diabetes is equal. Each person's experience with the condition can vary based on several factors, including:

- Age at Diagnosis: Research suggests that the age at which a person is diagnosed can impact their management and long-term health outcomes.
- Management Plan: How well a person manages their blood sugar levels, including their adherence to insulin therapy and lifestyle changes, can significantly affect their health.
- Complications: Some individuals may develop complications such as heart disease or kidney disease, which can impact their overall health and life expectancy.
- Support System: Access to a supportive healthcare team and community can make a big difference in managing the condition effectively.

It's important for each person to work closely with their healthcare provider to tailor a management plan that suits their individual needs.

I've had type 1 diabetes since i was diagnosed in 2013 at the age of almost 21. it's still hard managing over these last 10+ years especially trying to get pregnant but my glucose numbers arent in range where they need to be. but affording a CGM or insulin pump is not affordable and insurance coverage is crappy.
