Have you tried the VLCD - Very Low Carbohydrate Diet? I'm on shots [I've had pumps and Omnipod] and have 36 years of T1d. Another diet that gets results is the keto diet. There are tons of killer food ideas and videos on Facebook & Instagram.

I’ve been a T1 for 60 years and am very insulin resistance. It is not as severe with Novalog Andre Fiasp insulin. Main side effect is that it makes it harder to manage your weight.
