I do not have iPhone. Currently have android. I use reader for my Omni dash. Works great. Rather use separate readers for dexcom and Omni. So much easier and not have to worry about phone battery power which is important for emergencies. So the way I understand can I request separate readers for Omni 5 and dexcom 6 or 7. Thank you 😊

That’s true. I have an iPhone so I have to use a reader for my Omnipod. I wish I could use my phone, but Insulet is still working on it. Your doctor can request a reader with your introductory kit. I charge my reader overnight. It holds a charge all day.

It can be run with any iPhone w/ios 17 and 18 using a G7.

I use Omnipod 5 and G7 - I love that it almost gives you your life back prior to T1D. It automatically gives you insulin which really helps to lower the numbers. My only downfall is that Omnipod is not compatable with iPhone so I have to carry a device with me together with my phone and have to keep track of a device that does not have “find my” option. Bring an artist my attention span is very short so keeping track of it 24-7 is a challenge to me. I’m constantly looking for it, my whole family is too:). I heard they have cases you can buy online that come with a tracker - I’ll try that. But overall it’s currently the best offered on the market in my option
