It's disappointing to see so many purported diabetic cookbooks offering recipes with unnecessary carbs, sugars. I became so frustrated I started writing my own, The Savory Survivor Cookbook, with over 100 tasty low sugar, no salt recipes, but haven't found a publisher yet. I'm not interested in self publishing, so it may be awhile before it's available.

If you have access to a local public Library that would be an excellent place to check out cook books to review.
