What are some good cookbooks for type 1 diabetics? I'm looking to exchange one on Amazon that I received as a gift.
It's disappointing to see so many purported diabetic cookbooks offering recipes with unnecessary carbs, sugars. I became so frustrated I started writing my own, The Savory Survivor Cookbook, with over 100 tasty low sugar, no salt recipes, but haven't found a publisher yet. I'm not interested in self publishing, so it may be awhile before it's available.
If you have access to a local public Library that would be an excellent place to check out cook books to review.
Thank you! I did think of that and have checked a couple out on Hoopla.
Why do so many diabetics get misdiagnosed as type 2 when they are really type 1
How many in this community give blood? When I was working I was asked frequently to give, but never have. Do you give?
