And yes if items are not a lot of carbs we tend to think it’s ok to eat not taking into account the fried aspect

I'm gonna be honest right now. I'm a junk food lover at heart. I love brownies, ice cream, little Debbie's, spaghetti, lasagna...all of it. But I haven't eaten anything processed at all (other than 2 slips, but that's ok) in a month. I hope to continue this as long as possible cause I haven't felt this good in years. I've slimmed down, blood pressure is better, insuline use is a fraction of what it was. I'm sleeping better, feeling better, working and playing better.

McDonalds 6 pc chicken nuggets, without sauce, has 15 grams of carbs from the breading. I used CalorieKing.com to look this up. While it's not a lot of carbs, it will spike your blood sugar. The delayed spike is because they are fried. The fat content results in slower digestion. You can also ask at the restaurant how many carbs are in any menu item. Any restaurant that has locations in multiple states is required by law to have nutritional information, including carbohydrates, readily available.
Hope this helps!
