I have seen mine be around 100 then I get up, not have anything to eat or drink and they will skyrocket up into the 200's. Does anyone know what's going on? Has it happened to you?

Oh yes…. The Dawn phenomenon or sunrise effect( in the old days they called it a lot of things) but you’re not crazy… it happens every single day for over 59 years here. It’s easy to control…. My team and I agreed on taking a dose before my feet hit the floor! ☀️

Another piece to this puzzle is something called the "Dawn Phenomenon." The body releases stored sugar to fuel itself to start the day. Medications can be adjusted, with the help of your medical team, to address this.

Yes, it's not uncommon for blood sugar levels to rise with physical activity, even with light movements like getting up and moving around. This can happen due to the body's natural response to activity, where it releases stored glucose for energy. However, the effect of physical activity on blood sugar can vary from person to person. It's important to monitor your blood sugar levels and discuss these changes with your healthcare provider to adjust your diabetes management plan as needed.

My body is weird. It doesn't take much for my blood sugar to crash or rise for no reason.
I too can just be in bed reading for a little while before officially getting up, and next thing I know, BAM! My blood sugar is high.
My guess is my body is preparing itself to be stressed out.

Oh yeah. For me, it’s usually because I didn’t do much activity the day b4. I usually just eat a meal, adjust my pump to include high glucose and continue with my day. Not sure what pump you use but my Omnipod adjusts
my insulin including glucose levels.
