Is there anyone out there using the Tandem Control IQ with the Abbott Freestyle Libre 2?

"I'm currently using the Tandem Control IQ pump with the Dexcom G7. However, I’m experiencing difficulty obtaining the G7 from retailers due to supply chain issues at Dexcom, and I feel that the overall quality of the solution is deteriorating. So, I'm considering switching to Abbott. Has anyone transitioned from the Dexcom G7 to the Freestyle Libre 2 while using the Tandem Control IQ pump? I'd love to hear insights before making the switch."

I've only used Dexcom with my Tandem. Check with Tandem first, to make sure the two are compatible. Also, I've heard that the Libre 2 will no longer be available starting in Sept 2025.
Dexcom G7 is now available. The backorder was only temporary. Check this also, before you switch.

Based on the available information, the Tandem t:slim X2 with Control-IQ Technology is specifically designed to work with continuous glucose monitoring systems to predict glucose levels and deliver appropriate insulin doses. The system is currently compatible with Dexcom CGM systems to enable automated insulin adjustments.

Unfortunately, the Tandem Control-IQ system is not currently compatible with the Freestyle Libre. Making this switch would mean losing the automated insulin delivery features that make the Control-IQ system effective at managing blood glucose levels. It would be advisable to discuss supply chain concerns with your healthcare team. They can help explore solutions to maintain access to Dexcom supplies or consider other compatible CGM options that would preserve the full functionality of your Control-IQ system.
